Due to continued expansion, Xpertex is recruiting for an experienced Systems Support Analyst and administrator to manage and support our corporate on-premise and cloud hosted services. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the IT manager to support the current and future technology requirements of this innovative and forward-thinking business. The role will be based from our Welwyn Garden City, UK offices. The principle duties for this role include:
- End user support to our Xpertex staff
- Ad hoc customer support and professional services, both remote and on customer sites in the UK
- Maintenance and patching of the on-premise infrastructure:
- Microsoft Windows environment
- Network troubleshooting and support including firewalls, internet and LAN – switched and wireless
- Monitoring of all corporate systems including the production of Management Information reporting

Essential Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- 3+ years’ experience working with Windows Server 2012-2016 & Office 365
- Desktop and User support experience
- Problem solver
Strong knowledge of the following areas:
- Microsoft Windows Server
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft Azure
- Domain Name Servers (DNS)
Highly desirable, knowledge of:
- Microsoft SharePoint, SQL Server
- Cloud technologies
- Networking – Routing & Switching, LAN and Wi-Fi
- Security – Firewalls (SonicWall, Juniper, Palo Alto) 2-Factor Authentication, SIEM
- Base technical accreditation such as MCSA, CCNA, JNCIA or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
